The fruit separates easily from the strigs on the thornless canes and is shiny black, glossy, very sweet and aromatic. Under trials, the average berry weight was found to be more than 9g with some individual fruits reaching 15g (1⁄3-1⁄2oz). They also show good resistance to pests and diseases.
